"I highly recommend Biz Mechanic to any business owner looking to improve their internal processes, identify operational efficiencies, and discover new and practical ways to engage with customers. Before accepting the project, Thejus began a thorough review of our business to better understand our industry, culture, and even our jargon. This deep dive into our circumstances gave me confidence that he could create solutions that truly work for my specific business. I knew we had selected the right person!
During the process, he was always available to answer all our questions, concerns, and coach us through the challenging moments. Notwithstanding his extensive education, experience, and expertise, Thejus never relied on textbook strategies or responses. His approach was always to find solutions that fit the context of our unique situation. The results of working with Thejus include a new, and purposeful website, successful implementation of our new operational and accounting systems, and comprehensive training so we realize the full benefit of these new processes. I now find more time to focus on growing our business, and greater self-assurance when making important decisions for my business."

"My company originally retained Thejus's services more than four years ago to manage our financial system, which was then a complex and time-consuming process, notwithstanding that it was considered a modern, cloud-based platform. He presented strong credentials for doing so, as well as managing related platforms and systems such as those handling our website and cross-platform communications. His first recommendation was quite a surprise: We should abandon what we were using (i.e. the premise of why we engaged him in the first place) and start using more modern, efficient, secure, tightly integrated and simpler platforms for our operations. I signed on to the endeavor, and a few weeks later he presented his recommended suite of platforms -- which also cost us a small fraction to lease compared with what we were paying for far less ease of use. We implemented all that he advised, maintain them to this day, and have never looked back -- except in regret that the company didn't make the moves sooner.
Over time Thejus carved out an overall position in relation to our company that required wearing multiple hats, best summarized as (1) IT specialist, (2) Director of Operations and (3) financial management. Because our industry is highly esoteric -- water technologies -- in order to increase his value to us, Thejus on his own initiative took courses and otherwise attained expertise in various spaces ranging from accounting to Wellness (becoming certified by the International Well Building Institute) to the protocols of New York City government agencies.
Thejus's ongoing commitment -- the guiding light of his tenure one might say -- was identifying and implementing ways to increase efficiency and automation in the digital realm. This is of immense value to an owner of a small business. It allowed us to flourish by always increasing our ability to focus on the stuff that matters. In our case, working as a vendor in the construction industry in New York, successful sales is about far more than landing a Purchase Order. A purchase of major equipment such as we supply, which become a unique fixture of a high rise building, is inherently a set of complex agreements pulling in numerous decision makers at various stages of a lengthy, intricate process. The value therefore of Thejus's drive always to increase the efficiency, transparency and security of every moving part in the process -- and at the same time to ensure the successful execution of the transactions required as projects unfold -- is almost incalculable. The company today, with respect to its day-to-day operations, is nothing like what it was on the day he started.
To my mind, the business itself has accordingly grown in value, irrespective of greater sales volume, due to a much higher degree of overall efficiency that effectively allows fewer people to manage an increasingly complex operation."
